About the role
An AI product is only worth the problem it solves and the usage it creates. Between a demo that impresses and a product people adopt, there is a vision, deliberate choices and proof. At Diametral, the AI & Data Product Manager holds that thread: you decide what to build, for whom and why, then you demonstrate the value created, in production and in the numbers.
You join the Product Delivery engine, home to our product expertise. Like every Diametral expert, you work across the whole chain, from Design to Run, alongside our Product Owners, our engineers and our clients' leaders. One compass only: measurable impact, never the volume of features.
Where you step in
- Diametral Expertise: clients call on you to frame a product, put it back on track or help it make the leap to scale.
- Diametral Process: you contribute to the AI-native redesign of their operating system, and you turn every use case into a product that keeps its promises.
- Diametral Immersion: you design and run distinctive, immersive formats, Serious Games, Talks, Learning Expeditions or mentoring, that give our clients' teams both the drive and the means to act.
What you will build
- A clear product vision, grounded in our clients' business stakes, and a roadmap judged by its results.
- Deep knowledge of users, fed by continuous discovery: interviews, usage data, prototypes and hypotheses tested before every commitment.
- A demanding definition of quality: what a good answer means for an AI product, translated into criteria and evaluations that guide the team.
- Informed trade-offs between quality, speed and cost, and guardrails designed for the moments when AI gets it wrong.
- Value-driven steering: shared objectives, usage indicators and return on investment tracked well beyond go-live.
- Scaling, from the first pilot to a portfolio of products, backed by a solid business case and business model.
- Trust, finally: products that comply with the AI Act and the GDPR, and that are transparent for the people who use them.
Your environment
You work alongside the executive, business and data leadership of major companies, where the decisions that matter are made. You rely on Diametral Process and on the best product management practices, from continuous discovery to OKRs, without dogma: the method serves the result.
You move with ease from an AI prototype to usage dashboards and model evaluation tools, on modern cloud platforms. Around you, engineers and data and AI experts who share your standards.
Within Diametral
- You grow our Product Management practice at the heart of the Product Delivery engine.
- You pass it on: you support our Product Owners and share your lessons learned with the whole product community.
What we are looking for
What you bring
- An engineering or business school degree, or an equivalent master's.
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, a significant part of it on data, AI or technology-heavy digital products.
- At least one product taken from discovery to production, with results you can quantify.
- A command of the fundamentals of the craft: product strategy, discovery, prioritization, metrics and experimentation.
- A real understanding of AI models and their limits: you can read an evaluation, challenge a technical team and explain a trade-off to an executive committee.
- Fluent English in a client context, plus the language of your home office.
What will make the difference
- Experience with GenAI or agent-based products in production, including the design of evaluations and guardrails.
- A technical background (data science, engineering, analytics) or genuine ease with SQL and usage data.
- Experience in a product-led organization or a scale-up, combined with exposure to major companies.
- Strong industry expertise.
Your mindset
- Results-driven: your success is measured by impact, not by the number of features shipped.
- Curiosity and analytical rigor: you decide on facts, and you know how to say no, explaining why.
- Leadership through influence: you rally business, technical teams and leadership around a shared vision.
What we expect from all our talent
- An obsession with business impact: you quickly understand our clients' business, and you know how to challenge it.
- A strong sense of service and client experience.
- Top-level communication, written and spoken: you simplify, you bring people along.
- Advanced mastery of AI and automation tools: you can show us an agent or a prototype you built yourself.
- Ambition and rigor, serving a team that puts the collective before the individual.
Interview process
- Interview with the Talent Acquisition team and/or a Business Manager
- Technical interview with an engine expert
- Interview with the Managing Director or the Engine Director
