About the role
The role that takes AI from the lab to the field. The Forward Deployed Engineer is one of the fastest-growing roles on the market. A high-caliber engineer, they work alongside the client's teams, understand their business from the inside and deliver, within weeks, AI solutions that change their day-to-day work.
At Diametral, this role embodies our promise: creating AI-native organizations. You join the Applied AI & Data Science engine and combine engineering (code, data, generative AI), product sense and client relationship, drawing on all of our engines.
What you will build
- Tailor-made AI solutions, from diagnosis to production: agents, automations, integrations with existing systems (ERP, CRM, business tools).
- Prototypes in a few days, then their industrialization with the client's teams.
- A fine understanding of critical processes: you observe, you ask, you identify where AI creates value.
- The link between the field and our teams: you surface needs and evolve our accelerators.
- The client's trust: you are their go-to technical partner, from team lead to director.
Your tech stack
Python, TypeScript, APIs and integrations, LLMs and agent frameworks, SQL, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS), automation tools, containers.

What we are looking for
What you bring
- An engineering degree or a master's in computer science.
- At least 4 years of experience in full-stack development, data engineering or AI engineering, ideally partly in direct contact with clients or users.
- The ability to deliver fast and well across the whole chain: backend, data, integration, AI.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and automation.
- Fluent English in a client context, plus the language of your home office.
