About the role
With the AI Act, governing AI is no longer optional. Companies hire far more people to build AI than to oversee it, and that imbalance is becoming a risk. At Diametral, the AI & Data Governance Manager turns governance into an accelerator: reliable data, controlled AI use, demonstrable compliance.
You join the Governance & Quality engine. The role is open at two levels: Governance Officer (operational rollout) and Governance Manager (strategy, program steering, team leadership).
What you will build
- The data and AI governance strategy and operating model: roles (owners, stewards), processes, bodies, policies.
- AI governance: inventory and classification of systems under the AI Act, risk analysis, generative AI usage framework, ethics committees.
- Data quality and control: catalog, lineage, glossary, Master Data Management, quality indicators.
- Data mesh and data product organizations: domains, data contracts, federated governance.
- Security and compliance: GDPR, classification, access management, unstructured data.
- Upskilling business teams and leaders, all the way to the executive committee.
Your environment
Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Dataplex, Unity Catalog; AI Act, GDPR, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, DAMA-DMBOK frameworks.
