About the role
The dashboard is not the deliverable. The decision is. Generative AI can now produce a chart in seconds. What remains rare is the right question, rigorous analysis and a recommendation that an executive acts on. At Diametral, the Data Analyst works directly with business leaders to turn data into measurable decisions.
You join the Decision Analytics engine and work alongside Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Owners.
What you will build
- Analyses that address leadership-level issues: commercial performance, profitability, customer journey, operational efficiency.
- Steering dashboards designed to be used, with real attention to design and adoption.
- AI-augmented analytics: conversational BI (Copilot, Genie, Cortex Analyst), LLM-assisted analysis, automated reporting.
- Experimentation and impact measurement: A/B tests, causal analysis, tracking the value of data and AI initiatives.
- Storytelling that drives action: synthesis, recommendations, presentations to executive committees.
- Self-sufficiency for business teams on their own data (self-service, training, governance of usage).
Your tech stack
SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks AI/BI, Copilot, ThoughtSpot, advanced Excel.
Within Diametral
- You share your use cases and data visualization best practices with the engine community.
- You can grow toward analytics engineering, data science or performance management consulting, as you choose.
