Decision Analytics: Three new talents join Diametral in Paris and Bogotá

Diametral’s Decision Analytics engine continues to grow with the arrival of three new Data Analyst Associates: Juan Camilo Pugliese Pomares, Elyes Salah, and Alejandro Borja Abad. Based between Paris and Bogotá, they will strengthen our ability to support companies in a critical challenge: transforming data into informed decisions and measuring their real impact on performance.

Three new experts to strengthen our Decision Analytics engine

We are pleased to welcome three new team members to our Decision Analytics engine:

Juan Camilo Pugliese Pomares — Data Analyst Associate, Bogotá, Colombia.
Elyes Salah — Data Analyst Associate, Paris, France.
Alejandro Borja Abad — Data Analyst Associate, Bogotá, Colombia.

Their arrival marks a new milestone in the development of our Decision Analytics teams, which are present across all Diametral offices.

By joining this engine, they will help address an increasingly important issue for organizations: how to demonstrate that investments in data and artificial intelligence truly generate value?

As highlighted by our Director of Decision Analytics:

Wanda Chelli-Cherfa, Director of Decision Analytics

" Data informs. Decisions matter. Data-driven decisions change the game. I can’t wait to make it happen with the new talents joining us. "

This conviction is at the heart of our mission: to go beyond data analysis to help companies make decisions that produce measurable results.

From data to decision: Bridging the gap between ambition and results

Developing a predictive model, building a dashboard, or deploying an artificial intelligence solution does not, in itself, guarantee value creation.

The real questions arise when these solutions enter the day-to-day operations of an organization: have they actually improved results? How much of that improvement can be attributed to them? Are the observed effects lasting? And do the benefits justify the investments made?

This difficulty in measuring impact is far from marginal.

According to a MIT Sloan statistic cited in our Decision Analytics (2025) presentation, 61% of corporate AI projects were reportedly approved based on projected value that was never formally measured after deployment.

This finding highlights a major challenge: organizations must be able to verify that their technological ambitions are effectively translating into results.

At Diametral, our Decision Analytics engine steps in precisely to bridge this gap, transforming data signals into actionable business decisions.

Our role goes beyond simply producing analyses. It consists of providing the evidence needed to understand what works, measure the value created, and adjust decisions whenever necessary.

Decision Analytics: Expertise structured around three core competencies

Decision Analytics is one of the eight engines that make up Diametral’s AI-native operating system.

It brings together expertise in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, and Strategic Analytics, with a shared ambition: to make decisions more reliable, consistent, and effective.

1. Measuring the real impact of decisions

The primary mission of Decision Analytics is to understand what actually produces results.

Through A/B testing, causal inference, and performance indicator analysis, our teams go beyond simple correlations to quantify the incremental impact of an action.

The goal is to enable organizations to identify which initiatives work, measure their return on investment, and direct resources toward the actions that create the most value.

Every recommendation can thus be accompanied by concrete evidence: available proof, expected impact, and associated risks and costs.

2. Building reliable and shared indicators

A sound decision relies on a common understanding of data.

Our experts support organizations in defining and governing their business indicators to ensure consistency across teams, Business Intelligence tools, and artificial intelligence applications.

This involves implementing structured KPIs, reliable semantic layers, dashboards, and self-service BI solutions.

The goal is to enable everyone, from the executive committee to operational teams, to rely on shared indicators to guide their daily actions.

3. Transforming analysis into strategic decisions

Data only creates value when it leads to action.

Our teams translate complex information into analyses, scenarios, and visualizations that are accessible to decision-makers.

Through data storytelling, decision-making dashboards, and strategic analysis frameworks, they support executive committees in understanding performance drivers and evaluating potential trade-offs.

Conversational analytics approaches also allow business teams to query their data more easily and obtain reliable answers.

The ambition is to make analytics a true decision-support tool, rather than just a reporting mechanism.

Measuring performance in an AI-native environment

As companies integrate artificial intelligence models and agents into their operations, the way performance is measured must also evolve.

Traditional technical indicators are no longer enough.

Beyond model accuracy or system functionality, organizations must understand how these technologies influence business decisions and outcomes.

This includes measuring employee adoption, the quality of decisions made, economic impact, and any potential unintended consequences.

In this context, measurement itself becomes a strategic product, essential for driving transformation and demonstrating its contribution to company performance.

This vision guides the development of our Decision Analytics engine: bridging the gap between strategic ambitions, available data, and actual results achieved.

International expertise that continues to grow

With the arrival of Juan Camilo, Elyes, and Alejandro, Diametral is strengthening its Decision Analytics expertise between Paris and Bogotá, while continuing to develop an engine present in all its offices.

These new talents join a team driven by a shared conviction: data should enable companies to make better decisions, but above all, to measure their consequences.

As our Decision Analytics philosophy reminds us, strategy defines the ambition; measurement allows you to verify that it is being realized and gives companies the means to adjust their actions quickly.

We are thrilled to welcome Juan Camilo, Elyes, and Alejandro to this adventure and look forward to building what comes next together.

Welcome to Diametral!
